Outdoor & Ambient Advertising

You don’t necessarily need big budgets for an outdoor marketing campaign. In fact, if you have a field next to a motorway it doesn’t cost anything, however, I don’t expect many of us have a spare field and you have to question the professionalism of such a venture.

This aside, an outdoor advertising campaign on buses, bus stops, train stations and 4, 16 and 48 sheet billboards are real options for any business that is trying to communicate to the mass market or to a specific location.

Concept ran an outdoor campaign spanning many months for an organisation that was trying to get the attention of young people in the Worcestershire area. For this reason, Worcester train station and key shopping area sites were chosen. The bright magenta poster couldn’t be missed and the outdoor advertising campaign was successful in raising awareness of the drugs counselling and advice available in the area.

Ambient Advertising

Ambient advertising has become very popular in the last few years because it offers an alternative and more creative way of displaying your message. Forms of ambient advertising include:

  • Service station petrol pump advertising
  • Toilet door advertisements
  • Back of receipt advertisements and car park tickets
  • Street media such as bin advertisements and bollard advertisements
  • Pizza boxes advertisements, hotel do-not-disturb signs, rubbish bags and takeaway cups

Ambient advertising can help get your business noticed as your message becomes part of consumers’ daily lives.
